We Are The Pioneer of Endodontics

Root canal treatment (endodontics) can save a tooth that's been infected by bacteria or badly damaged or injured, so it doesn't need to be extracted. You may need root canal therapy if you have a severe toothache or your tooth feels sensitive to hot and cold food and drinks. At Texas City Dental, root canal treatments are performed by our endodontic specialist,  we make it a point to save teeth and not just replace them. In the past, diseased or infected teeth would have simply been extracted. Our Dentists offer conservative treatment to our patients and will ensure every possible step is taken to save teeth. The Texas City Dental in Texas City is conveniently located near t La Marque, Galveston, and Hitchcock area is conveniently located near to the HEB and ROSS market complex and is the best option for low-cost dental care near you.

Root Canal Therapy becomes necessary when the nerve of the tooth or the pulp becomes infected or diseased. The treatment will involve removing the nerve of the tooth. If the diseased or infected pulp is not removed, bacteria will begin to grow within the tooth, which will result in pain, facial swelling and may develop an abscess, which can also result in tooth loss. We'll give you all the information you need about root canal treatments when you book an appointment at our clinics.  After performing your root canal, we'll restore your tooth to its original strength and appearance with a custom crown. At Texas, City Dental we provide many treatments that deal with the overall health of the teeth and gums. Endodontics is a special field in dentistry that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders in the dental pulp.

WE  ARE PREPARED FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID19

Dear Patients,

Gov. Abbott has allowed that dental offices may resume practice starting from midnight, May 1st. This is great news for us and our patients, as we have missed you all!. It is imperative that we reopen properly and cautiously to protect our patients and our team. We appreciate everyone’s support while we make these changes!

  1. Every patient, when confirming their appointment, will be asked a few screening questions to determine if said dental appointment should be rescheduled.
  2. If you have experienced fever or been exposed to COVID19+ you will be asked to reschedule to a later date.
  3. We have hand sanitizer throughout the office, including check-in/out, and hand soap is stocked for the restrooms.
  4. We will be cleaning high-traffic areas, and high-exposure areas multiple times throughout the day.
  5. Our team will be wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment. We take infection control seriously and always have. These are changing times requiring that we change with them.
  6. The HEPA filter has been placed at the office to filter even the smallest viruses and bacteria.
  7. We have reduced the number of chairs in our waiting room to comply with #socialdistancing
  8. We will no longer display magazines/books/toys in the lobby. This was hard for us to do because our smallest patients LOVE playing with the toys.
  9. We will be taking temperatures when we come to your vehicle to get you, and temperatures above 100.4 will need to be rescheduled.
  10. We will be taking temperatures on our team members twice daily to ensure the safety of our patients.
  11. Prior to dental treatment, we will have patients rinse with a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide pre-rinse.
